The Turbo engine delivers 227 horsepower with 87 octane fuel and 256 horsepower with 93 octane fuel. Depending on the fuel used, this engine’s torque varies from 310 to 320 lb-ft. No matter what trim level and engine you choose, you’ll be driving with Mazda’s SKYACTIV-Drive six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift and Sport mode.
As a crossover SUV, the 2022 Mazda CX-5 offers the same towing capacity that you can expect from a mid-sized car. If you select one of the turbo options, the curb weight is 3,856 pounds.
