From April through September, the Bonneville Men’s League plays every Wednesday. Bonneville also has an 18-hole women’s league that plays on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. and a nine-hole women’s league that plays on Tuesdays at 7 a.m. Bonneville’s amenities include a driving range, a chipping area, and two practice greens. First constructed in 1905, Forest Dale is the oldest golf course in the state of Utah. The city acquired the property in 1935 and has since renovated the course significantly. There’s also a lake that comes into play on the last three holes. Forest Dale maintains both a women’s league and a men’s league.

The course features a practice green near the first tee box and a short range near the center of the grounds. You can rent both motorized and push carts to get you around. The clubhouse maintains a historic look and feel and features a cafe and meeting room. Expect a leisurely pace of play here because, despite the size, this course doesn’t offer a quick game. You’ll want to allow plenty of time for the meticulous players who seek out these challenging greens as tests of their control.
